Kinga Scott – bilingual counsellor and psychotherapist in West Yorkshire

Hello and welcome to my page. I am an open, down-to-earth, compassionate therapist and I offer confidential and friendly counselling and psychotherapy service.

Our sessions provide you with a safe space in which you can explore yourself, your feelings and concerns. Our aim will be to help you develop your autonomy, achieve personal growth and lead to positive changes in your life.

Together, we can help you to find ways to move forward in difficult times.

I work from a modern office based in Birstall, West Yorkshire. I can work in Polish or English.

My core training was in person-centred counselling. I incorporate different therapeutic methods to tailor therapy to each client’s individual needs:

  • CBT
  • Transactional Analysis
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

I deliver couples therapy using the Gottman Method which includes a thorough assessment of the couple relationship and integrates research-based interventions based on the Sound Relationship House Theory.

I believe that everyone is a unique and valuable individual with a capacity and potential for personal growth and positive change. I want to offer my clients the environment in which this growth and change can happen.

I am fully qualified, a member of a nationally recognised professional body (the BACP), and hold professional liability insurance. I am committed to continuous professional development (CPD) which I do by completing further training, attending workshops and doing further reading.
